An interesting reference to Auguste Comte that caught my attention recently:

“Dreams leave behind ...information ... provided by ancestors or companions, who never stop watching over the living, with whom they still constitute, as phrased by Auguste Comte (1798-1857), that humanity that is composed more of the dead than the living.”
