President
The President succeeds to this office after having served as President-Elect. Following a 2-year term, the former President serves for an additional year as Past-President. The President must be a Regular Member of the American Anthropological Association (AAA) as well as of the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness (SAC). Current office holder: John R. The Executive Committee is composed of the President, either the Past-President or the President-Elect, the Secretary-Treasurer, and eight Members-at-Large. Members-at-Large are elected by the membership of the Society for two-year terms, four being elected each year. At least one Member-at-Large must be an Associate Member and one a Student Member of the AAA and SAC. Current office holders:

The Chair heads a three-person committee responsible for organizing SAC Invited Sessions for AAA annual meetings and for evaluating sessions and papers for those meetings submitted to SAC for review.
